REACH: Restriction proposals submitted on formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasers, Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4), Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5) and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane (D6) 

Published on ECHA's website on 30 January, the restriction intention dossiers ensure transparency and that stakeholders have enough time to prepare for the 6-month public consultations, which will start in April 2019 if the dossiers pass conformity by ECHA’s committees.  Read

On 23 January, the European Court of Justice considered that ECHA could identify DEHP as an SVHC without waiting for the outcome of various other regulatory and policy processes addressing endocrine disruptors.  Read
