A word from the President
Dear Afera Members,

We are just over five weeks away from Afera’s Annual Conference in Marseille, and I encourage you to register if you haven’t already done so.  I am especially excited about the two automotive presentations we have scheduled:  Nathalie Barrois, Adhesive Tapes Project Manager at Renault, will discuss the state-of-the-art and opportunities in using pressure sensitive adhesives, and Gökhan Tunçdöken, Vice President of Automotive Technology, Sales Original Equipment at Bosch, will cover working on autonomous vehicles and enabling technologies at one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers.

On the opening day of the Annual Conference, Afera is offering attendees a bonus pre-Conference marketing seminar on developing your strategy and skills in B2B content marketing for the adhesive tape sector.  This will be moderated by Bert van Loon, marketing innovation expert and strategist for Afera.  Mr. Van Loon delivered a very compelling presentation at Afera’s Dubrovnik Conference on re-engineering marketing communications in a content-driven world – covered in this issue of Afera News.  You can register for both the bonus Seminar, which is offered free to Afera Members but with limited space available, and the Annual Conference here.  I am looking forward to seeing many old and new faces alike in October.

I hope you are having a wonderful summer,

Laurent Derolez
